Howdy ZD Review staff,
I fixed the bugs you mentioned in your last review of my program(see below).
I guess you would consider this a major update.
I fixed
Small problems with saving graphics.
Program failed to run on some systems.
File size was limited on some systems.
In some cases, favorite objects were added to All users profiles.
Editor status bar did not reflect 'Modified' when 'Pasting' text.
'Line and Column' status displayed improperly on some Window's platforms.
TextBar can now be 'Hidden' while still keeping ScrollBar visible.
User name was all caps.
Got rid of the bold print in the options.
ToolTip color is now the users default.
Improved help file.
Things I added:
Gave the program a whole "New Look".
Added ability to open and save Word(doc) and Write(wri) files.
Added a "Close All" menu item.
Added Microsoft standard "Hotkeys".
Caption now shows document type for clarity.
Added an arrow on the color button for quicker access.
Toolbars can be "Docked" anywhere on the window.
Ruler not visible in Plaintext mode for more window space.
I fixed a lot more bugs too numerous to mention.
Plans to give EasyText the ability to open HTML files
are in the works now.
BTW The program name is EasyText not Easytext.
Just because I use 'ET' a lot in the program.
So please let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Jim Stanford

Hi Jim: I like your program, and came very close to giving it four
stars. However, the items in "Cons" held it back. They should be pretty
easy to fix, and with a few more features and some polish, this could be a
five-star app. Check out Notetab Pro to get an idea of what a five-star
program (even though it doesn't do rich text) in this category is like.
It's also programmed in Delphi, but sticks real close to the Microsoft
standards, making it easier to use with an interface that looks more like a
native Windows 95/98 app. -- Ted Tatman, ZDNet Reviewer
Program Pros
* Nice feature set
* Easy to use
* Reasonably priced
* Shows a lot of potential
* Three stars, but a high three stars
Program Cons
* Needs a lot of cosmetic work
* Why is user's name ALL CAPS?
* Would be more intuitive if it used Microsoft Office standard toolbar
icons
* Too much use of bold/colored fonts in Preferences area (makes it look
like a Windows 3.1 app)
* Default tooltip color should be user's tooltip color
* Is program's name "EasyText" or "Easytext?"
* Would look more elegant if black were used more for toolbar items
instead of blue
